CampusOne Named BUworks Implementation Partner
(Boston) — Boston University has selected CampusOne, a joint venture between LSI Consulting and EPI-USE America, Inc., to implement a new University-wide information system. The SAP® system will improve real-time access to information for human resources, financials, procurement, payroll, budget, and research administration, allowing BU to improve business processes and support future growth with flexible and efficient information tools.
"CampusOne combines knowledge and experience in implementing business software for higher education. Having real-time information available will provide business intelligence, enabling the University to be more responsive internally and externally,” said Ken Weeden, program executive director for the BUworks implementation. “Consultants from SAP will also be participating in the BUworks program. They bring business support experience and technical expertise, including an understanding of complex processes and the system architecture.”
After careful deliberation, Boston University chose CampusOne as the implementation partner due to their strong focus and credentials in implementing ERP solutions in the higher education environment. CampusOne matched the University's vision and the decision to select CampusOne was unanimous.
“CampusOne is delighted to be selected as implementation partner,” said Mark Schexnaildre, chief executive officer of LSI Consulting and co-president of CampusOne. “The SAP solution is robust and will serve the needs of the University well into the future. The University will benefit from a campus-wide, integrated solution which will save time and effort over current practices.”
“We are extremely pleased to work with Boston University, a leader in higher education,” stated Adele Swanepoel, chief executive officer for EPI-USE America. “Through our experienced team of dedicated experts,” she continued, “we are committed to ensuring Boston University achieves the maximum value and business benefit from their SAP investment.”
CampusOne will begin the implementation phase with Boston University, in January of 2010. Information about the program can be found at: www.bu.edu/buworks.
